Life North of Boston (2)

I couldn't post anything else after that… It seemed like it needed to have its own place…its own moment.

And it seems almost wrong to post anything else- anything normal- when so many have suffered and continue to suffer.

But perhaps, to live, and celebrate it with the little sweetnesses (and not) is another way to emerge victorious.  One runner posted on Facebook, that she was running to honor her husband killed abroad by terrorists, and now her children had to fear because she too was in harms way because of terrorists.  However, she resolved that they would not maim her heart or spirit or her drive to live life out loud.

So while not out loud, perhaps, with little cheeps, I share our days here.

Sunday was still somewhat quiet, since Gabriella was only just emerging from her bout with the Thing. We huddled and cuddled and chatted in front of the fire on Sunday evening.:)

Monday morning,  anthony had some work he wanted to get done, so we slept in and hung out until about noon. We went for a walk on the bike path and then had sone lunch.  It was as we were leaving the restaurant that we saw the news coverage on the marathon bombings. :(  Nonetheless, we decided to carry out the plans.

The girls were not aware of what we had planned. In fact G was decidedly sulky. The walk cured some of that. Nothing like fresh air and exercise, and a few wildlife sighting to bring out your best.:)

They are so happy, they sparkle.;-)

Pictures follow.

Bike path crossed off the list (not quite biking, but it was good nonetheless).

Turtle sighting. (the muskrat was too fast!)
Chicks coming home!

Meet Sunny, Moony, Nipper and Penguin.

Perhaps the blog name should change to Five Grasshoppers and a few Chicks? :)

Proud of these girls. They cleaned out the little coop and did the whole thing all by themselves. Ewwwww! But they did it.:)
